Logan attended Texas Tech University and obtained his Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering in May of 2016. Logan interned with ExxonMobil the summer prior where Logan worked offshore on a drillship in the Gulf of Mexico that cost $1.5 Million a day to operate. Logan oversaw multiple projects while learning new processes, procedures and methods to improve business profitability and work efficiency. After graduating with a degree in a cyclically declining industry, Logan transitioned to the Financial sector.

Logan was scouted by Armor Wealth Management as a personal financial planner where he helped drafts financial solutions for individuals in all walks of life. Logan decided to help businesses with their group benefits, key man insurance, buy-sell agreements, and “golden handcuffs” for the executive team. Many owners were interested in moving forward, however financially were unable. Logan decided to remedy that gap in the process.

Logan learned investment banking through referring a brokerage company that worked with multiple billion dollars families that would provide seed, corporate finance, and M&A style financing to companies. Logan sourced 40 businesses in the first 90 days comprised of everything from a $50k pre-revenue startup to a $1 Billion international development project for a biofuel company. After 4 months, Logan realized there was a further gap in the process even for the broker, and thus Vertex Funding was born. Logan started building a network of lenders, buyers, and investment funds for every niche in the business lifecycle. Vertex now hosts more than 100 different lenders and more than 1,000 buyers. Deals range as low as 5k and as high as multi-billion dollars. The company is flourishing and he is eager for its growth and expansion.
